How to use

  1. 1

    Pick a test duration

Select how long you want the test to run — 1 second for a quick burst, or up to 60 seconds for an endurance test.

  2. 2

    Click the target area

Click anywhere inside the large target zone to start the timer. Keep clicking as fast as you can until time runs out.

  3. 3

    Review your results

When the timer hits zero you'll see your total clicks, CPS score, rank label, and a per-second breakdown chart.

  4. 4

    Beat your high score

Your best CPS per mode is saved automatically. Reset and try again to climb from Beginner all the way to Godlike.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good CPS score?
Average users click around 5–7 CPS. Competitive gamers using techniques like jitter clicking can reach 9–13 CPS. Anything above 13 CPS is considered exceptional and often requires butterfly clicking or specialised hardware.
What is jitter clicking?
Jitter clicking is a technique where you tense your forearm muscles to vibrate your finger on the mouse button rapidly. It can push CPS into the 10–14 range but can cause strain with extended use.
What is butterfly clicking?
Butterfly clicking uses two fingers alternating rapidly on the same mouse button. Skilled practitioners can exceed 15 CPS, though many competitive servers consider it an unfair advantage.
Does my mouse affect my CPS?
Yes. Mice with lighter switches and shorter actuation distances make faster clicking easier. Gaming mice from brands like Logitech, Razer, and SteelSeries are designed for rapid input.
Are my scores stored anywhere?
High scores are saved in your browser's localStorage only. Nothing is sent to a server. Clear your browser data to reset scores.

Test your clicking speed with a precision CPS (Clicks Per Second) tool

powered by performance.now() timing. Choose from five test durations —

1 second, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 30 seconds, or 60 seconds — and see

exactly how fast you can click. A live counter tracks your clicks in

real time, and a per-second breakdown chart shows your rhythm across

the full test. High scores are saved locally per mode so you can track

improvement over time. Everything runs in your browser with zero

network requests — just pure clicking speed measurement.
