How is weighted average calculated?

Each grade is multiplied by its weight, summed, and divided by the total weight. For example, 90% (40% weight) + 80% (60% weight) = 84%.

What GPA scale is used?

The standard US 4.0 scale: A=4.0, B=3.0, C=2.0, D=1.0, F=0.0 with +/- modifiers.

What if I need more than 100% on the final?

The calculator will tell you the required score even if it exceeds 100%, noting that it may not be achievable.

Is my data sent anywhere?
