Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. Watermarking is done entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images never leave your device.
What does tiling mode do?
Tile mode repeats the watermark text across the entire image in a diagonal grid pattern. This makes it extremely difficult to remove without obvious image damage, as cropping out one instance reveals another. It's the most protective option.
Can I add an image watermark instead of text?
Currently only text watermarks are supported. For image/logo overlay watermarking, this is a planned future feature.
Will the watermark survive screenshots?
Yes. The watermark is permanently embedded into the pixel data of the downloaded image. It can only be removed with image editing software and effort — especially when tiling mode is used.
What opacity should I use?
For subtle branding, 20-40% opacity works well. For clear proof watermarks on client previews, use 60-80%. For maximum protection that's clearly visible, use 80-100%.
What position presets are available?
9 position presets: top-left, top-center, top-right, middle-left, center, middle-right, bottom-left, bottom-center, and bottom-right.
What image formats are supported?
Input: PNG, JPG/JPEG, WebP. Output: PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF.
Can I watermark multiple images at once?
Currently one image at a time. Batch watermarking is planned for a future update.
Does the watermark preserve image quality?
The watermark is composited in memory before encoding. For lossless output, use PNG. For JPG and WebP, use a quality setting of 90%+ to minimize compression artefacts around the text.

Add professional text watermarks to your photos and images with granular control over

every parameter. Set your watermark text, then customize: font size (small to large),

text colour (any hex or colour picker value), opacity (fully transparent to fully opaque),

position (9 position presets: top-left, top-center, top-right, center, bottom corners,

or custom), rotation angle (0° to 360°), and tiling density.

Tiling mode repeats the watermark text across the entire image surface in a grid pattern —

the most effective protection method, as it's impossible to crop out without losing significant

image area. Ideal for photographers and content creators protecting their work before sharing

online.

Single position mode is ideal for logo-style branding — place your studio name or website

URL in a corner at low opacity for a subtle professional mark. High opacity in the center

creates an unmissable proof watermark for client previews.

All processing runs in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images never leave your

device — no uploads, no accounts, no limits. Output in PNG, JPG, WebP, or AVIF.
