How to use Mouse Sensitivity Converter

  1. Set your mouse DPI

Enter your mouse DPI or click a common preset (400, 800, 1600, 3200). Your DPI is found in your mouse's software (Razer Synapse, Logitech G Hub, SteelSeries GG) or on your hardware profile button.

  2. Choose your source game and sensitivity

Select the game you currently play from the dropdown and type your current in-game sensitivity value exactly as it appears in your game settings.

  3. Choose your target game

Select the game you want to convert your sensitivity to. The tool instantly calculates the matching sensitivity using each game's yaw value.

  4. Verify with cm/360 and eDPI

Check the cm/360 value — it should match between source and target games, confirming your muscle memory will transfer. eDPI is shown for within-game comparison.

Mouse Sensitivity Converter FAQ

What is cm/360 and why does it matter?

cm/360 is the physical distance in centimetres you move your mouse to complete a full 360-degree rotation in-game. It's the universal sensitivity measurement that stays constant across all games when sensitivity is correctly converted. Pros typically use 25–50 cm/360 — lower is more aggressive, higher is more precise.

What is eDPI?

eDPI (effective DPI) is your mouse DPI multiplied by your in-game sensitivity. It gives a single number for comparing sensitivities within the same game. However, eDPI cannot be compared directly between games because each game uses a different yaw value in its conversion formula.

What DPI do professional FPS players use?

Most professional CS2 and Valorant players use 400 or 800 DPI with a lower in-game sensitivity, producing cm/360 values of 30–60 cm. Lower DPI gives smoother cursor movement at the cost of coarser steps. The important metric is cm/360, not raw DPI.

Why does my converted sensitivity feel slightly off?

Some games apply additional mouse smoothing, acceleration, or FOV-based scaling. Ensure mouse acceleration is disabled in both your OS settings and in-game. FOV differences also affect how the same cm/360 feels — the same physical movement covers more visual angle at lower FOV.

Does changing DPI affect the conversion?

Changing DPI changes your eDPI but not your cm/360 as long as you adjust in-game sensitivity accordingly. The converter accounts for DPI in all calculations, so entering a different DPI with the original sensitivity gives you the correct new sensitivity to maintain the same cm/360.

What games does this sensitivity converter support?

The converter supports 20+ titles including CS2, Valorant, Overwatch 2, Apex Legends, Fortnite, Rainbow Six Siege, Call of Duty Warzone, Escape from Tarkov, The Finals, Deadlock, Battlefield 2042, Quake Champions, and more. Games are added regularly.

Can I use this for Fortnite building sensitivity?

This converter handles standard aim sensitivity. Fortnite has separate building, editing, and aiming sensitivity sliders. Convert your standard X/Y aim sensitivity here — building and editing sensitivity require manual adjustment based on personal preference.

Can I use this for controller sensitivity?

No. This converter is designed for mouse input only. Controller sensitivity uses a completely different model based on stick deflection curves, aim assist, and look deadzone settings that cannot be converted to mouse yaw values.

Background

Transfer your muscle memory perfectly between any two games with a precision mouse sensitivity converter used by competitive FPS players. Select your source game, enter your current sensitivity and mouse DPI, pick your target game, and get an exact converted sensitivity in real time.

The tool calculates cm/360 — the universal distance your mouse travels for a complete 360-degree in-game turn — and eDPI for both games so you can verify the conversion is accurate. Supports 20+ popular FPS and tactical shooter titles: CS2, Valorant, Overwatch 2, Apex Legends, Fortnite, Rainbow Six Siege, Call of Duty Warzone, Escape from Tarkov, The Finals, Deadlock, Battlefield 2042, and more.

Unlike mouse-sensitivity.com, this tool works entirely in your browser with no account required, no ads before your results, and no conversion limits. All calculations run instantly with zero server requests.
